KANE provided engineering design services for a highwall rockfall mitigation at a quarry in Chicago, Illinois. The project focused on stabilization of quarry highwalls and mitigation of rockfall hazards using a Geobrugg TECCO Slope Stabilization System. KANE developed engineered calculations, construction drawings, and technical specifications to support implementation of the stabilization system.
The project deliverables included complete stamped engineering calculations, construction drawings, technical specifications, anchor testing documentation, and final inspection approval for implementation of the quarry highwall stabilization system.
