KANE performed geotechnical evaluation under limited access conditions and developed an integrated stabilization system consisting of a high-strength steel wire mesh system with ground anchors to control surficial erosion and mitigate rockfall hazards.
In addition, KANE designed a tieback soldier pile retaining wall with steel lagging and rock-socketed foundations to restore lateral support and retain ballast along the track alignment.
The system was designed to accommodate access limitations and maintain ongoing rail operations within designated track time constraints.
